Early clue to the new direction?

Can anyone in the band say something...anything about the sonic direction of the next album?

(And if the response is "Something Anything," we'll know it's a song-by-song cover of the 1972 Todd Rundgren album.)

Though I can't say I'd complain if a cover of this were in the works!
