Tonight I was checking the BT label-mates Beach House perform on Jimmy Fallon at Hulu (last 6-7 minutes of the show: http://www.hulu.com/watch/122599/late-night-with-jimmy-fallon-fri-jan-22-2010 -- video will be up for the next 10 days only).
And the female singer, Victoria Legrand, reminds me of Eric Earley. Her voice sound, the way she sings some words/verses, even some of her mannerisms. I kept thinking, if Eric was a woman, he would be Victoria. Please don't take this the wrong way. It's just that if I only had audio in that video, I could totally envision Eric singing that song in her place. It somehow fits so perfectly in my mind.
